Veteran's Day

  Today is Veteran's Day.  This is the day when we honor the men and women of our armed forces who give their service to defend our freedom from threats in the world.  As American citizens it is our duty to support them.  Saying thank you, or sending letters or care packages to the troops overseas are good ways.  But more importantly, we can thank them by protecting our nation's freedom at home.  They do everything they can abroad because they love their country.  We should do no less at home.

Racism:  n  1:  a belief that race is the primary determinant of human traits and capacities and that racial differences produce an inherent superiority of a particular race.
        This is the traditional meaning of racism.  To favor one race over another, or to discriminate against a race because of who they are.  In today's society, the Left tells us that it is racist to not favor the minorities.  Even when the majorities do better, it is called racism to give credit where credit is due, because the credit goes  to the majority.  But this itself is truly racism, only it is reversed from the traditional form.  In the past, the minorities were discriminated against.  Now the minorities are favored, and it the majorities are discriminated against, because they are the majority.  The meaning of racism is twisted to protect and favor the minorities, even when the minorities did nothing to earn the protection.  This protection does more harm than good.  If a person does not need to earn a thing, but will merely have it handed to them, they need not work at all, and have really gained nothing
       Martin Luther King Jr. had a dream, that his children could one day "live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin, but by the content of their character."  Sadly, this noble dream has not yet been realized.  The Left has overcompensated, and still decides who is better, and should not be questioned, by the color of a person's skin

Our Right and Our Duty

        The founding document of the United States of America is not the Constitution.  The United States were born with the signing of the Declaration of Independence.  The central point of the Declaration is that governments are formed by men to secure the inalienable rights given to them by their Creator.
     
"...that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable rights, that among these are life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. That to secure these rights, governments are instituted among men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed."

The Declaration of Independence goes on to say that if any form of government becomes destructive towards these ends, it is the right and the duty of the people to abolish that government, and to form a new government that will safeguard those rights: life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.  It was with these rights in mind that the founding fathers wrote the first and second amendments to the Constitution.  The first to safeguard the right of the people to speak out against the government, and the second to give the people the means to preserve their freedom from any threat, external or internal. 
       The current government of the United States of America has infringed the right to free speech, labeling it as a hate crime.  It has taken away many of the weapons that keep of safe from all threats.  It has supported and funded the slaughter of millions of innocent unborn children.  And it has mortgaged our future, endangering our freedom by making our enemies our creditors.  If this government goes much farther, it will be the duty of the citizens of the United States of America to remake their country by any means necessary.  However, if the citizens do not exercise their right until it is to late, the entire world will follow the United States of America into slavery to their governments.

       For those who prefer the politically correct, comfortable, convenient truth: do not read this blog.  Whatever needs to be said will be said here, without any thought for the sensibilities of the reader.  If you prefer to hide from reality, and to shelter yourself behind comfortable illusions: do not read this blog.  But if you wish to know the truth, read on.  Nothing will be shaded, hidden, or twisted.  Obama failed to deliver on his promise of transparency.  This blog shall  never back down from the truth.
